An Airbus A350 lifting off over a grass field under a deep blue sky, landing gear still extended.

Software that flies by the book.

Vemryx Aero builds and maintains flight simulation products and aeronautical software, held to the standard of real procedures. First up is Aeron: an AI copilot that works the real A320 cockpit, and an air traffic controller designed never to improvise a clearance. Both are in development.

Aeron Copilot

In development

The A320 is built for two pilots. Aeron Copilot is built to be the second one, or the only one: it talks with you, runs checklists, prepares IFR approaches, looks up minimums, helps in emergencies and works the aircraft’s systems. It can fly the whole flight alone or act as your copilot, and it gives the controls back the moment you touch the sidestick.

Made for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. Today it supports the FlyByWire A32NX.

Aeron ATC

In development

AI air traffic control that replaces the simulator’s built-in ATC: voice communications, IFR and VFR instructions, clearances, frequency management and a response to emergencies, in English with FAA phraseology.

Works together with Aeron Copilot on the same radio.

Explore Aeron ATC

The Aeron family.

Aeron Copilot and Aeron ATC come first. The rest of the family is planned, each product with its own design and working together with the others.

  • Aeron Traffic

    Planned

Intelligent air traffic: AI-controlled aircraft with realistic movements, separation and sequencing of take-offs and landings. Works together with Aeron ATC.

  • Aeron Ground

    Planned

Ground operations: pushback, fuelling, baggage, catering, passengers and airport services, with intelligent automation.

  • Aeron Dispatch

    Planned

A planning centre: flights, fuel, alternates, weather, NOTAMs and routes, with SimBrief integration.

  • Aeron Instructor

    Planned

A virtual instructor with AI. It assesses landings, procedures, decisions, emergencies and pilot performance, and creates personalised training and failure exercises.

One flight, gate to gate.

In the order it happens. This is what Aeron Copilot does when it flies the whole flight, and you can take over at any point.

    Preparation

It fetches and checks your SimBrief plan, sets up the cockpit from cold and dark per the FlyByWire procedures, and programs the MCDU: INIT, flight plan and PERF.

    Pushback and taxi

It asks for IFR clearance, pushback and taxi through the simulator’s own ATC menu, starts the engines and taxis to the holding point.

    Take-off

Take-off configuration and line-up, then it hands you the controls or flies it, with the Airbus callouts: ONE HUNDRED KNOTS, V1, ROTATE.

    Climb and cruise

    Descent and approach

About 15 minutes before top of descent it prepares the arrival, asks ATC for descent and only descends when cleared.

    Landing

Autoland is preferred, manual landing the alternative; outside the stabilised-approach criteria it goes around.

    Gate

It clears the runway, runs the after-landing flow, taxis to the stand with ATC, parks, disembarks and secures the aircraft back to cold and dark.

The rules Aeron flies by.

  • Real tools, real procedures

It works the ATC menu, the FCU and the MCDU, and follows airline SOPs from Airbus and FlyByWire instead of scripted, canned flows. The realism of a real A320neo comes before any shortcut.

  • You stay in command

Touch the sidestick, the thrust levers or the pedals and the controls are yours: “Your control.” A STOP button, or saying “stop”, is always one click away. In flight it stops commanding, leaves the autopilot and autothrust as they are and says so. It never cuts thrust or switches things off.

  • Built not to invent numbers

It looks for charts and data. When none exist it uses a conservative minimum and says so in the briefing. The decisions that belong to the pilot stay with you: the other runway or an alternate, and what to do after two go-arounds.

Built for the aviation ecosystem.
