What is Aeron?

Aeron is a family of AI products for flight simulation by Vemryx Aero. Aeron Copilot is a virtual pilot that flies as pilot flying and pilot monitoring. Aeron ATC is an air traffic controller you talk to by voice.

Is Aeron available?

Not yet. Aeron Copilot and Aeron ATC are in development. There is no download and no release date.

Which simulator and aircraft does it support?

Aeron Copilot is made for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, on Windows, with a SimBrief account. It flies the FlyByWire A32NX, the iniBuilds A350 (the whole family), the FlyByWire A380, the PMDG 777-300ER and other aircraft.

Will other aircraft or simulators come?

Yes. Aeron grows with more aircraft for Aeron Copilot and more products in the family, listed on the home page. Nothing has a date.

Which languages does it speak?

Aeron Copilot uses Airbus callouts in English. Aeron ATC speaks English with FAA phraseology. This website is in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Is Aeron ATC a separate product?

Yes. Aeron ATC replaces the simulator’s built-in ATC and works with Aeron Copilot, which speaks on the same radio while it flies.

Can I take over?

Always. Touch the sidestick, the thrust levers or the pedals and the controls are yours. A STOP button, or saying “stop”, is always one click away; in flight it stops commanding and leaves the autopilot and autothrust as they are.

Does it handle failures and emergencies?

Yes. Aeron Copilot is built for ECAM procedures, engine failure, rejected take-off, windshear, overweight landing and declaring an emergency to ATC, and Aeron ATC responds to emergencies.

How much will it cost?

Not announced.

How do I follow the progress?

The roadmap on this site shows where each part stands. To hear about progress, message us on WhatsApp or by email; the people who build Aeron answer.

Are the photographs yours?

No. The photographs come from Wikimedia Commons under open licenses, and the credits page names every author and license.

Is it for real aircraft?

No. Aeron is made for flight simulation only.
